I cant believe you are already 17! I hope you had a wonderful birthday and got the card that I sent to you.

I wonder if you are driving and how you feel about being a junior this year. I wonder who your best friends are and what college you are thinking of applying to. I miss you so much.

Remember that you are loved and I am always here whenever you need me. We are getting closer and closer to the day when I can finally give you all the hugs that I have been saving for you!

I hope you had a great birthday. It was so hot today and the storms were so loud, I hoped nothing ruined your special  plans.

I remember it was just a few years ago that we saw Cars 2 together. I CANT WAIT for the day that we watch Cars 3 together.

Today I was reminded that God gives dads sons so they will always have a best friend. I cant wait to spend time with my best friend again.

Thinking of both of you today. Miss you both so much.

We are spending time with family again today. I sure wish you were here to join us. Tonight we will have dinner and play board and card games. Its a fun way to end Christmas.

I hope the card that I sent you didn't get lost in the mail.

I cant believe it was 16 years ago that I held you in my arms and fell in love with you. You were instantly so precious to me, and you still are. I couldn't believe how beautiful you were and how much potential you were blessed with. You and Ethan have always been the greatest gift from God and I am so grateful for you both.

I look at your pictures every day. There's so much I want to talk to  you about; school, cars, guys... about how you keep going even when your heart is breaking. I know when you're in high school that it can feel like the end of the world when something goes wrong, but it's not. Life is full of joy, but we have to have dark to see the light of the stars. Surround yourself with people who make you smile and who love you just as you are, on good days and bad days.

I keep praying that the Lord continues to protect you and bless you with wisdom and that you continue to grow into the wonderful woman you were always intended to be. Be safe on the roads, make good choices, and don't be afraid to be independent. That's how you learn to be an adult.

I hope your birthday dreams and wishes came true. I cant wait until you and I can spend birthdays together! For now, be great, enjoy school, and have fun with your friends!

Happy 13th Birthday!

Happy birthday, buddy. I hope you had a great day. As always, you were on my mind. I hope you were able to receive the card I sent you.

I miss you so much. I've wondered what you have been up to and what kind of hobbies you have now. Your Uncle Danny and I have been fishing. We cant wait to take you out on the boat. We dont catch very much (I ALWAYS catch more than he does!) but it is nice spending time with him and making memories.

You have a new cousin and another one on the way. There is so much Eller family that misses you and cant wait to meet you and get to know you!

Give your sister a big hug from me. I love you so much and cant wait until the day when we can go fishing together and start making memories of our own again. Its coming soon. Call me any time you want.
