Merry Christmas 2014

It has been an AMAZINGLY long day today, and you were right here with me, in my heart. I hope that you had a nice Christmas. I thought of you all day and wondered what you had been wishing for. 

I'm counting down! I know that soon I will be seeing you and catching up on all the hugs and kisses that we have been missing out on. 

I love you both very much. Merry Christmas! Let's hope that the newyear  brings us one step closer to never being apart again!

Happy Thanksgiving, Ethan and Macaylee

I'm sending my love to you from your great grandfather's house in Tennessee! We have talked so much about you that I bet your ears are burning! 

We drove here last night in the snow. The flakes were as big as plates. It was amazing! It took us 8 hours to get here, but Paw Paw Bud was so happy to see us that he cried.

This morning I am cooking breakfast for Paw Paw Bud. I wish you were here. I'm thinking about you and hope that you have a beautiful Thanksgiving. We are all thinking about you and missing you.

I am praying that you are OK!! I know growing up can be so hard. I wish I could be there with you and listen to you talk about things that are bothering you. You are and always have been a blessing to me and I miss you so much. 

I pray for you every day. I pray that God will watch over you and when you are sad or scared or lonely, He will wrap you with all my love and comfort you! 

This is a confusing time for young people and a confusing age.... when you feel lost, follow your heart. Make love your guide. Always come from a place of love. Love yourself, especially! God gave you a beautiful and loving heart and an intelligent brain! I trust and believe that you will always make the  choices that you feel are right for you.

I love you to the moon and back! I can not wait until the day I hold you in my arms again!

Happy Birthday Macaylee!

I think of you every day! I wonder about the woman you are growing up to be.

My birthday wish for you is that you always know you are loved! I hope for your 14th year to be filled with lots of fun with your friends and joy. You are a beautiful treasure, precious to me, and I miss you so much. I know that the day is getting closer when I can hug you and tell you everything in my heart. Until then, do your best every day and know that I think of you every time I breathe in and out!

Happy Birthday, Ethan!

You have been on my mind so much lately! You have gotten so tall! I hope you had a great birthday and have had a lot of fun this summer.

I miss you like crazy. I'm waiting on the day when I can hug you and we can work on cars together or play games together. So much is happening in my life that I wish I could tell you about.

I love you so much. I know in my heart that we wont always be in this situation. Until then, I pray for you and Macaylee every night when I go to bed and every morning when I wake up. You and your sister are, always have been, and always will be my greatest joy.

Merry Christmas, Ethan and Macaylee!

I hope you had a Merry Christmas. I thought about you all day. I wondered if Santa filled your stockings and wondered what he brought for you.

We had a big family breakfast. I made bacon and eggs and biscuits and gravy. I thought about both of you and wondered what you would like the best.

Christmas Eve I smoked a shoulder on the grill. The neighborhood smelled so good! My mouth was watering! I couldn't wait for it to be done!

I miss you both so much and Im sending you Christmas hugs and kisses. I cant wait until we can spend a Christmas together!

This is my favorite Christmas tree ornament. I got it when we went to the mountains and had a great family day. I think of you when we hang it on the tree and hope for the day you will be here for our Christmas traditions, like going to the mountains, picking out a tree, decorating, making cookies and candy, and watching movies. I cant wait for the day we start making memories together!
